e. Rigging the Load.
Make sure cotter pin has been properly installed and secured in
pintle before proceeding with mission. Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
(1) If a truck is to be recovered, hookup utility chains (8) to shackles (1) on truck
front bumper or to pintle (2) at rear of truck.
(2) If truck recovery must be made at an angle; refer to c. above.
