NOTE
Procedures for heavy side
lifts are the same as for
heavy rear lifts (refer to
step 1 above) except for
side positioning of boom
jacks.
NOTE
Boom jacks, tie bar, jack pin, base plates, and outriggers must be
removed and stowed when vehicle is traveling.
(a) Raise boom (1) to take weight off boom jacks (2).
(b) Remove lockpins (11) and L-shaped pins (7) from base plates (6).
(c) Remove base plates (6) from boom jacks (2).
(d) Remove lockpins (10), T-shaped pins (8), and tie bar (9) from boom jacks (2).
